BarrierPro™ Cast-Iron Cement Retainer & Bridge Plug provides a solution to the challenges of API-11D1 qualified short to long-term barrier systems, remedial cementing, and the long drill-out times associated with these types of products.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • A fully tested & qualified API 11D1/ISO 14310 drillable barrier system for both short and long-term abandonment operations without the need for a cement plug directly above the tool, including an enhanced elastomer element design with increased pressure ratings;


  • A large-bore design (>3” stinger bore) for remedial cementing increasing pump times and efficiencies while reducing the risk of erosion and the loss of seal integrity in the valve system (over 72% increase in flow area);


  • Improved slip retention device requiring NO wire bands or slotted segments, eliminating the risk of losing slips downhole, and partial setting of slips providing a more debris tolerable product that performs in various well environments;


  • Body-Lock Ring feature locks the mandrel in position to prevent the mandrel from floating, which prevents issues from opening sliding valve, without the need of pressuring up the annulus to put the mandrel in the “down” position. Also prevents free rotation when attempting to drill through assembly;


  • Field convertible to a top-venting bridge plug and can be conveyed via wireline, drill pipe, tubing or coiled tubing – both mechanical and hydraulic options available;


  • MultiPro™ Setting tools and WLAKs are field convertible and compatible with both cast-iron and composite products – providing a more cost-effective solution for both inventory and space management on the rig site (ONE tool sets all drillable products)


  • Hydra-Set™ Adapter Kit (HSAK) – provides versatility for carrying out multiple applications such as single-trip negative tests applications, single-trip permanent & temporary abandonment, cementing operations, and more.
